Dr Harsh J Shah is a well known Gastro, liver & pancreatic surgeon in Ahmedabad. He has started his practice from 2011 & he has experince in treating complex diseases of gastrointestinal tract including cancers. His majority of work involves treatment of complicated & referred cases of gastrointestinal diseases.

He has received training at the best gastroenterology institutes in India. After completing MS (General Surgery) & MCh (Surgical Gastroenterology) from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi, he received additional training in Liver surgery & Liver transplantfrom Sir Gangaram Hospital, Delhi. He was trained in Endoscopy at Baldota Institute of Digestive Sciences, Mumbai. He was awarded degree of Diplomate of National Board(DNB – Surgical Gastroenterology) by NBE.

He has been awarded Best Video presentation in laparoscopic liver resections at IHPBA 2014, Mumbai. He is a teaching faculty at ‘Laparoscopic Skill‘ Development programme at Matsya Healthcare Academy, Ahmedabad.

He has many publications in national & international journals & he has co-authored many books in Gastroenterology. He treats illnesses of Gastroenterology by Endoscopic, Laparoscopic & open surgical methods. He has to his credit successful treatment of hundreds of complicated cases of GI cancers as well as liver & pancreatic diseases.
