Dr Mayankkumar Gurjar is a highly skilled and experienced consultant Laparoscopic Gastro-Intestinal surgeon and Hepato billiary pancreatic surgeon at Kaizen hospital, Institute of Gastroenterology and research centre, Ahmedabad. He started his surgical career since 2012. He has extensive experience in treating complex gastrointestinal tract diseases including GI cancers, advanced Laparoscopic surgeries and complex hernia.  

Educational Qualification:

• MBBS from Gujarat University in 2010. 
• Master of Surgery (MS) from NHL municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad (V S Hospital). 
• M.Ch Surgical Gastroenterology from Narayana Medical College and Hospital, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.

Experience:

• Assistant Professor of Surgery at GCS Medical College and hospital, Ahmedabad for 2 years. 
• Assistant Professor of surgical Gastroenterology at Dayanand Medical College, Ludhiana for 2 years.

• Gastro intestinal oncosurgery
• Management of Colorectal diseases and malignancy
• Diseases of esophagus and stomach (cancer Hiatus hernia, Acid reflux diseases)
• Minimal invasive (Laparoscopic) complex hernia surgery 
• Hepatobilliary Pancreatic surgery
• Complex perianal surgeries (Piles, complex Fistula, Stapled hemorrhoidectomy, Rectal prolapse)

Apart from clinical work, he is interested in research, academic activities and constantly updating himself. He has been trained in Laparoscopic hernia surgery by Hernia Society of India at Manipal hospital, New Delhi. He has presented paper at IHPBA 2020 at Bhubaneswar. He has presented poster at IHPBA 2020 at Bhubaneswar. He has many publications in national peer reviewed journals.
